Your details, plainly. What Cavero Labs does with your details when you visit this site or send us an enquiry.
Who we are
Cavero Labs is the registered business name of Reuben Baty, ABN 30 833 716 652, in Western Australia. Cavero Tourism is its service for tour operators. We build and run websites and marketing systems for small tour businesses.
Questions about your details go to hello@caverotourism.com.
What we collect
When you visit: Cloudflare counts visits to our pages for us. It sets no cookies and does not track you from site to site. Our own pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.
The chat box on this page is a sample. It shows what the chat does on a tour company's site. It sends nothing and keeps nothing you type.
When you send an enquiry: your name, your business name, your email, your mobile number and where you are based. Your IP address is used to stop spam. Cloudflare checks it and limits how often the form can be sent from one place. Your enquiry goes to GoHighLevel, a US company, where we keep it as a contact. Reuben reads it and gets in touch.
You don't have to send us anything. If you don't, we can't get in touch. That's all.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and to talk to you about your tours. If you become a client, to build and run your site and marketing system and to bill you. We don't sell your details or use them for anything else.
We keep your enquiry and reply to it because you asked us to. We keep your details afterwards because we have a real interest in following up a business enquiry and we think you expect that. You can tell us to stop at any time. We send no marketing to you unless the law where you are allows it or you have told us yes.
Texts and emails from us
If you send an enquiry, we email you once to say we got it. Then we get in touch.
We send no other texts or emails to sell you something unless you have told us yes. Those always say who we are and have a way to stop.
If we contacted you first, that message says who we are and how to stop.
If you are outside Australia
If you are in the United Kingdom, New Zealand or Canada, your details come to us in Australia and are kept with the services below, most of them in the United States. Once your details are in another country, that country's courts, police and national security agencies may be able to get at them under its laws. You have the same rights as anyone: ask to see, fix or delete your details and we do it.
Where it's kept
With the services we use to run things. Most are US companies, so your details may be stored or processed outside Australia.
- GoHighLevel (United States): our customer system. Contacts and enquiries.
- Cloudflare: hosting, the spam check on the enquiry form and visit counts.
- Microsoft 365: our email.
How long we keep it
If you send an enquiry and don't become a client, we delete your details after 2 years. Sooner if you ask.
If you become a client, how long we keep your details is set out in your agreement.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your details
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@caverotourism.com or reply to any message we've sent you. We'll get back to you within 30 days. To stop emails, reply to any email from us or write to that address. To stop texts, reply STOP to any text or tell us.
If you are in the United Kingdom, you can also ask us to stop using your details, to limit how we use them, or to give them to you in a file you can take elsewhere. You can also object to any marketing.
Keeping it safe
Our accounts are protected with passwords and two-step sign-in where the service offers it.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, email us and tell us what happened. We'll look into it and get back to you within 30 days. If you're still not happy, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
If you are in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in New Zealand, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz. If you are in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
